Oke! I have an confession to make. My hubby and I are crazy about garlic! Garlic has a tone of positive features although the smell after is not one of them.
So it is Saturday morning and time for breakfast. We are not really cereal breakfast lovers but more of a bread kind. I opened the fridge and got this idea – Breakfast out the Oven with Garlic.
- Whole grain bread
- Soya butter
- 1 – 2 cloves of garlic
- Few mushrooms
- Ginger powder
- Fresh basil optional
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Spread soya butter on bread. Add ginger and oregano. Then place fresh mushrooms cut in the way you like. Add a pinch of salt (optional). Take a clove of garlic and grind it using crusher. Spread it over every piece of bread. Put it on a baking tray and in the oven. Let them "bake" in the oven for about 5 – 10 minutes and after you’ve taken them out of the oven, put some fresh rocket and basil on it. Yummy!
