The first Flexible Vegan Workshop was a real success! I couldn’t be happier about how it went. I got a serious number of people interested in plant-based eating.
The workshop was a part of the Summer School organized by the city Tiel, the Netherlands for people older than 55 and I was asked to teach workshop about vegetarian cooking. What a challenge it was creating something interesting for them! They were tough audience to impress.
In the beginning there was limit of 10 people per workshop but we somehow ended up with the number 15! I decided to make it even riskier by dividing them into groups and giving them different tasks. And what a success that was!
One group was making starter. Hummus on whole grain bread with flower shape decoration.

The second and third group was making the couscous salad. That is my old recipe that can be found here. Since it was beautiful sunny day and very warm, this couscous salad was perfect main course. Again if you speak Dutch, you can download the full recipe that we made here.DOWNLOAD

This is how the BEST Brownies I have ever had looked like.
I was amazed how many of them were interested in attending more of my workshops and learn more about plant-based recipes and cooking. Few of them were also interested in the Dutch version of my Flexible Vegan for Everyone e-book and they would like to be informed when I publish it. I am happy that this was such a successful day!
